COUTIL MICRO STRIPE

ANATOMICA's FRENCH GARMENTS are produced in France using materials from various European countries.
The craftsmanship, incorporating traditional materials, has remained unchanged for 30 years.
Among these, "COUTIL," a traditional French material, is one of my personal favorites.
It has a history of being specially woven to create corsets, characterized by a unique weave pattern.
This high-density fabric was woven to prevent the corset's boning from piercing through and to resist stretching.

The "COUTIL MICRO RAYURE" we're introducing this time is a COUTIL fabric made from cotton linen.
The charcoal gray color gives it an even more classic impression.
We have three models—"DOLMAN, HOBEREAU, TENNIS"—made from traditional COUTIL material.
These are items also favored by ANATOMICA's Pierre.

Speaking of this material, although the color is different, it's also an item that owner Yamauchi has been using for nearly 20 years.
Please take a look at our past blog post where it's introduced.
I'd like to quote a memorable line from that article:
"Fashion fades, only style remains the same."
"Trends fade, only style remains unchanged."
A famous quote left by Coco Chanel.
True to these words, ANATOMICA's craftsmanship and style continue to exist unchanged even after 30 years.
