ANATOMICA's products have been consistently manufactured in France for 30 years, with no change in their production methods.

New products are not released until Pierre has gone through a process of trial and error, taking many years to reach a satisfactory completion.

Due to this production background, new models of ANATOMICA's French-made products are rarely released.

This approach to manufacturing stands in stark contrast to the fashion industry, where new collections are released every year.

The process of creating a product involves dedicating time to its production until a satisfactory result is achieved, without considering cost or time.

This product-out approach to manufacturing is, in my opinion, the spirit of ANATOMICA.

 

The 2025SS products recently arrived from France, and among them was a long-awaited "new model"...

That model is a double-breasted work jacket, a representative of French workwear.

The model name is "CHEMINOT".

The photo at the beginning shows Pierre taken in 1967.

He apparently loved French workwear and wore it often since then, and in this photo, he is wearing a double-breasted work jacket.

Among Pierre's vast collection of workwear, there is one piece that owner Yamauchi received from him.

This is exactly the workwear that the new "CHEMINOT" model is based on.

The distance between the double buttons is set to a short 7cm, a detail that Pierre is particularly particular about.

Although it is a jacket representative of French style, it is packed with ANATOMICA'sこだわり (particularities) in its fine details.
