ALDEN

ALDEN

One of ANATOMICA's signature items is "ANATOMICA by ALDEN."

While "Modified Last" is now a familiar term in Japan, I hear it was Pierre, during his time at Hemisphere, who introduced it to the Japanese public.

At that time, he encountered ALDEN shoes with the Modified Last at Jacobson Brothers Shoe Company, an orthopedic shoe specialty store in NY.

Orthopedic shoes are designed to treat foot conditions or assist in motor function.

In the U.S., the Modified Last is only handled by a limited number of stores, mainly orthopedic shoe specialty stores.

The Modified Last, with its inside straight and outside curved shape, is a shoe last that allows you to wear shoes with a feeling similar to being barefoot.

This last, born from the pursuit of functionality, is beautifully shaped and cradles the foot without hindering its natural form.

It's a leather shoe that embodies functional beauty, rather than just fashion.

Most models at ANATOMICA utilize this Modified Last.

About 10 years ago, when I first visited the ANATOMICA flagship store in Paris, I bought a pair of ALDEN shoes with the Modified Last.

I was directly fitted by Pierre, and the ALDEN shoes I bought in my correct size have now become an indispensable companion for my feet.

If I don't wear my ALDENs for a while, my back pain gets so bad that they've become essential for my feet, haha.

To be precise, I believe ALDEN shoes are the ones that help me maintain proper posture.

For the "ARCH POP UP" starting tomorrow, we have a variety of ALDEN models available, so please take this opportunity to come and see them.
