Last week, I traveled to PARIS on a business trip, where ANATOMICA's main headquarters is located.
I spent about a week "training" at ANATOMICA PARIS, primarily discussing the French-made items for this autumn/winter and next season.
This was my third business trip to France, but my first as part of the ANATOMICA crew. I boarded the plane with a mix of excitement and nerves... lol

ANATOMICA PARIS, located in the Marais district of Paris.
The interior, window displays, lighting, and fixtures are all meticulously designed with ANATOMICA's concept in mind, instantly captivating the heart.
It's not about creating a store that simply sells... I could feel the mindset from the store that they stick to their beliefs and propose what they truly believe in.

I got a sneak peek at the new jacket and scarf models for this autumn/winter, and new materials for next year... models that have gone through dozens of sample revisions to be perfected.

The scarf Pierre liked to wear was vintage, and the madras scarf released this season was created based on it.
The scarves we are currently producing are also made by sampling vintage pieces.
The discussions continued... and there will also be items produced exclusively for Kyoto... please look forward to them.
In the evening, we went to "LE BARATIN," a long-established French bistro that Pierre has been frequenting for a long time.

Afterward, our owner, Yamauchi, always visits Pierre's home, and I was allowed to accompany him.
It became a routine to drink whiskey at Pierre's house almost every night before returning. It was a very valuable experience... though I was constantly nervous, lol.
Pierre showed us various products he cherished, and the conversation grew lively.
Pierre's profound knowledge extends beyond just clothing to a wide range of fields.
Watching Pierre joyfully introduce various things, it's hard to put into words, but it was a moment where I felt something fundamental about being a clothing professional.

On the last day before returning to Japan, there was an item that had caught my eye.
It's a French-made shirt called "GP SHIRT."
It was displayed in the window in PARIS, and Johan, a staff member in PARIS, loved it. Both Yamauchi and I bought one.
This item was previously only available in Paris, but we were given special permission to offer it in Kyoto as well.
I hand-carried it back, so I will introduce it soon.

The "ARTHUR Ramie" is produced exclusively in Kyoto.
Pierre also likes and uses it. He told me many times that it's a truly special fabric.
When I asked if I could take pictures of the ramie, he said he wanted a day to think about the coordination.
Normally, one might just quickly put it on and take pictures, but his styling was meticulously thought out from head to toe.
It was a moment where I once again learned that his way of thinking and attitude as a clothing professional shines through in such details.

I still have so much more to say, lol.
Please let me tell you the rest at the store.
