FRENCH SHIRT

Let me tell you about the French-made shirts I hand-carried back from my recent business trip to PARIS.

In PARIS, there was an abundance of "French-made shirts" displayed in stores, a quantity rarely seen in Japan.
Among them, the "GP SHIRT," a band-collar shirt, was an item I'd never seen before.
I fell in love with it at first sight, from the material to the design, and both owner Yamauchi and I decided to buy one.
Since we were there, we thought it would be great to have them in Kyoto too... and with the kindness of PARIS, we were able to specially hand-carry the GP SHIRT.

The GP SHIRT is named after Grand Pere (Grand Father).
This simple band-collar shirt is versatile, perfect for both dressy and casual occasions.

The fabric used is Albini cotton pique.
The white fabric with blue dots, and the pique material, give this shirt an elegant feel, yet with a distinct French air.

Johan from ANATOMICA PARIS looked fantastic wearing this shirt.
It looks great whether tucked in or left out.
During my business trip to PARIS, I realized that shirts made in France using high-quality fabric are an indispensable part of ANATOMICA's style.
Although French-made shirts were traditionally strongly associated with dress shirts, wearing them unironed, with the shirt untucked, creates an exceptionally cool, relaxed look.

In addition to the GP SHIRT, we also have "CG SHIRT," "YPOW," "BAND COLLAR," and more.
Please come and try them on.
