ARCH STYLE

"ARCH" has stores in Sapporo and Tokyo.
It is a sister store of ANATOMICA Sapporo and Kyoto, and ARCH, ANATOMICA Sapporo and Kyoto are operated by Misanga International.

The store in Sapporo, Hokkaido, opened about 21 years ago.
At that time, they were quick to buy and propose "European vintage" items that were not yet in the market spotlight.

I, Takumi, joined about 13 years ago, in 2012. At that time, I was working at ARCH Sapporo.

When I joined in 2012, ARCH primarily focused on European vintage, ranging from ANATOMICA's French-made items to jeans, FRANK LEDER, European factory-made shirts, and workwear. Next to these, you could find used Euro Levi's.

Classic men's wear like British Guernsey sweaters, Shetland knits, and caps were also available.
Domestic brands were also stocked there.

Back then, I often saw people in the streets of Sapporo who I thought must be regulars at ARCH!

They commonly wore well-worn Barbour jackets, caps, French military M-47 or fatigue pants, and either PARABOOT or ALDEN on their feet.

Under their Barbour jackets, they wore ANATOMICA BB VESTs or jackets.

I still remember seeing so many people like that around town.

At that time, it was the owner, Yamauchi, who proposed and established the "ARCH STYLE" to customers in Sapporo.
ARCH has consistently offered products and styles they believe in.

I was often taught that a select shop's role is to exclude things they dislike.
This philosophy is exactly what ARCH's Yamauchi and ANATOMICA's Pierre have in common.

It's truly remarkable that they have consistently proposed the same style without wavering, from before I joined until now.

And about five years ago...
ARCH started an event at Shinpuhkan in Kyoto, which led to the birth of ANATOMICA KYOTO...

For me, ARCH is also my origin and a precious place where I learned many things.
Starting yesterday, we are holding a special sale titled "ARCH FAMILY SALE."

During this period, owner Yamauchi and Hara from the Tokyo store will also be present, so please come and visit us.
