Yamauchi had a meeting with Pierre in PARIS, and finally, the interior design plan was finalized.
The fine details were also mostly decided, and from here, the interior and exterior construction will begin.

At this time, Kyoto was about to enter summer.
I remember how incredibly hot it was when I came to check on the construction progress.
Thanks to the efforts of Daishin, who handled the interior design, the construction proceeded smoothly.

Mr. Narui, a Kyoto gardener, created the tsuboniwa (courtyard garden).
While preserving the existing stone lantern, he planted maple trees and laid stones to create a magnificent garden.
The tsuboniwa is one of the highlights of ANATOMICA KYOTO.
The view of the tsuboniwa from the shoe-fitting area is simply beautiful.
From here, the flooring, exterior grilles, and fixtures will be installed, bringing it closer to completion.

What Yamauchi was most particular about was the counter system, which is the same as "ANATOMICA PARIS."
The counter, composed of expanded metal and wood, has the same specifications as in PARIS.
The stock area behind the counter is also exactly the same as in PARIS.
This section was also completed after millimetre-level adjustments.

There's still so much to talk about regarding the interior, but I'll stop here for now...
The final touch was adding a noren (traditional Japanese curtain) at the entrance of the store.
Preserving the history of a good old Kyoto machiya, while bringing the concept of ANATOMICA PARIS to Kyoto.
This was the moment when the interior theme of ANATOMICA KYOTO finally came to life.
ANATOMICA KYOTO opened on September 13th last year.
Almost a year has passed since then.
This is all thanks to everyone who has supported us regularly.
I express my sincere gratitude. Thank you very much.
Next weekend, from September 13th, we will hold a three-day event to commemorate our first anniversary.
Please see the NEWS page for details.
