【NEW ARRIVAL】ANATOMICA by ALDEN #11202F

A Special Pair of Shoes with Memories of the Canadian Army

These boots have their roots in the ROYAL CANADIAN ARMY.

The "ANATOMICA BY ALDEN #11202F" from ALDEN is a special model created from the unique and keen perspective of its founder, Pierre Fournier, among ALDEN's many offerings.

An essential feature when talking about these boots is the distinctive "BACK STAY."
This design, where the heel counter is covered by a separate piece to reinforce the heel, is crucial.

In fact, it was inspired by 1940s Canadian army boots owned by architect Luis Fraile Amestoy, Pierre's long-time partner who also designed ANATOMICA's interiors.

The "robustness" and "aesthetic beauty" of military design are wonderfully combined, resulting in this pair of boots.

While regular ALDEN boots often feature "speed hooks" for easy removal, this model deliberately uses "eyelets all the way to the top."

This design was conceived by Pierre, who usually wears trousers, to avoid the stress of hooks catching on the inside. It's a design born purely from functionality, allowing these boots to be worn elegantly with trousers.

The side panels feature soft, unlined material, and the sole is a waterlock sole.

This "FLEX CONSTRUCTION," a source of pride for ALDEN, offers an astonishingly good flex from the first wear, providing a comfortable fit that gently cradles the foot.

Despite their rugged military roots, they exude a sophisticated, urban vibe.

This style, a timeless staple loved in Paris, is now being unveiled in Japan for the first time.

They will be simultaneously released on Friday, April 17th, at ANATOMICA SAPPORO and ANATOMICA KYOTO.

Please check them out in-store or online at each store.
