As the model name "1841" suggests, this jacket is inspired by the work jackets supplied to the French army in 1841.
Similar to the "1839" model, which was also inspired by French military workwear, the "1841" features asymmetrical button placement and a stand collar. However, the 1841 lacks pockets, giving it a slightly more shirt-like appearance.
The fabric is 100% linen. It is woven with thick linen threads, resulting in a moderately thick yet light and comfortable feel.
